I have slackware installed and running X on my dell laptop :) :) and I am using xfce as my wm right now. very light indeed. I did a complete install of ver 10, I had ver 7.1 running sans X, and 8.1 was giving me a hell of a time. So I went straight to 10, didn't have to configure Xwindow at all, just ran startx. I did like enlightenment, but for some reason it isn't included in this distro? anyway off to play with my new linux laptop, thanks for the suggestion. *Lord Eros* .
