Err... you'll want to set the SHELL environment variable...
ie: export SHELL=/bin/bash
Or some such.
The ones you'll definately want to set are:
SBBSCTRL
SHELL
PATH

These variables are either not set during the rc execution (SBBSCTRL and SHELL)
or are not their "usual" values (PATH)
