Subj : FreeBSD SBBS Startup

Before heading out on the road, I wanted to set up SBBS to start in my 
rc.local.  I added the SBBSCTRL environment variable prior to executing, 
but I still get an error, specifically:

Jan 28 19:19:54 ns2 synchronet: Node 0 !ERROR 2 in main.cpp line 2362 
checking "SHELL environment variable" access=0

Is there something else I need to set in the environment for startup to 
succeed?
