Subj : URL encoding To : All From : Angus Mcleod Date : Sat Dec 04 2004 08:10 am Just to conclude the issue of the urlencode/urldecode programs: My script that writes a script that (amongst other things) writes a playlist.m3u that uses URL's instead of file names has been successfully modified. The first script uses an RE directly as in: s/([^-_\.!~\*'\(\)A-Z0-9])/sprintf("%%%02X", ord($1))/sige; to encode those parts that are available to it (specifically the artist and album directory names). The generated script calls my little urlencode program to do the same. Anyway, the playlist is now being generated with properly escaped URL instead of a filename. Belly: No thanks, I don't want to switch to NetYawk or whatever. --- þ Synchronet þ Linus is a regular at The ANJO BBS. No, Linus Brathwaite! .
