I was also thinking about doing a dual-boot system. I I have a problem with that... If again, you want to make the switch, just do it. See, with a dual boot system, you have to sit there and reboot the system to get to the other OS... in the mean time, you'll think, ah heck with it, I can do it from here... You'll find yourself less and less inclined to reboot the computer, just to get to the other OS. Now, if this occurs with Linux, great, but, I'll put a wager out there that it'll occur with your Windows side more, and become the dominant side. So, in the future, the Linux will become a novelty. Works just fine for me. :) But again, building another system just for Linux, you do some research and find what is best for it prior to getting it. Look, I'm not saying that Linux is the greatest, endall of all OS's out there either. There are things that I have yet to be able to do with it, but its moving forward and eventually, yes, I may move completely to it. But in the mean time. I have the luxuary of having multiple machines so, I have the best of both worlds. :) Sniper Killed In Action BBS, telnet://kia.zapto.org Home of the Unofficial SynchroNet Support Network. download the info pack at any of the below sites: http://www.chcomputer.net/USSNET.ZIP http://www.ussnet.org telnet://kia.zapto.org ....
