General Protection Fault's, yes, but, "Deleting some file"? If you had gotten a message that wanted to restore a file that had been replaced, I'd understand that, but, deleting a file? I'd seriously check your system for spyware/adware first... then check with a few online Anti-Virus scanners. Fi> Would Admin tools be of use here? Fi> Speaking of admin tools. When the system looses internet connection, have you tried to go to the network config, and stop/restart the network connection? Also, when it goes out, bring up a dos prompt, and type ipconfig and paste what it says here. You may have a driver issue with your Network card, or its going bad. Go to the start button, click on control panel, then click on the network connections icon. Does the connection show up with a red X? Can you right click on it and enable it? You really shouldn't have to reboot just to get your network connection active again. I'd seriously be looking at the driver for the card. If you got your current drive off the install disk/cd, there may be a newer, patched, fixed one at the manufacturer's web site.
