These don't generally work dialing modem to modem though. (If you know of any that support it let me know!) I think the Doom 95 version allowed for it but I recall trying it and going back to the old Doom II because it caused so much grief. I only wish some of those improved versions DID work as well as the original over the modem. It would be nice to have the better graphics and added controls that some of those offer. Most also choke on the newer sound systems. After fighting with sound in Doom Fusion, their idea of a fix was to install a Sound Blaster 16 card..
