Make more RAM available by eliminating programs with large working-sets, 
or by buying more RAM.

I've always been amused by the idea of "de-fragmenting" RAM in a system 
that used demand-paged virtual memory.  Or paged memory of any kind, 
actually, although paging systems other than demand-paging with 
virtualization are not too easy to find any more, for obvious reasons.....
