With the older versions, from Win2K back, you can install it as many times as you want. You can also basically use the same code for multiple computers. With the advent of XP... Activation kicks in... Only if you have a Corporate Edition of XP, which doesn't require Activation can you basically get away with that... The limitation there is which service pack you have. If its pre SP2, you will run into a problem trying to update to SP2... It'll most likely de-activate and then your left with a dead system. :) Not that I've tried this or anything, its just information that I read recently....
