(forward > or backward) and this highlights the term in the test. > If I were dissatisfied with 'man' I suppose I'd use 'info' instead... ugh! i hate info :) i really dislike how it's so goofy to use -- i understand _why_ it is the way it is, dumb terminals and all but jeez.. i actually am the proud owner of a book called man(1) which has all the manual pages in it printed out in like 6pt font :P it's dated now of course, i got it in the early 90's but it makes great toilet reading.. xman is pretty nice too once you figure out it's quirks. my main gripe about using console anything for research/heavy reading is that the font is so small it's hard to read. even with setfont it's difficult to find a font that's not overly large but still readable. 8x9 or whatever the default is, looks really bad on my tiny notebook screen (which is the gentoo box). anyway, off topic sort of but, is there a xinfo? cousin of xman? :) - grymmjack .
