Subj : Notebook Bios battery To : ALL From : ROB MCCART Date : Thu May 12 2005 08:04 pm I am looking at an older Acer Laptop NoteLight 370PDX. It's in really good shape and well set up for a light use machine but one thing I see is that the bios battery is cooked. (The main battery is too but that's another story..) Anyone ever replaced a bios battery in one of these ? I'm wondering how hard they are to get at and if they are flat buttons like desktops take or something nasty soldered to the motherboard. A couple of searches hasn't found anything useful online so I was hoping someone's played with these before and might know before I start removing screws..
