B) Yeah, after posting that, my father called and made it pretty obvious that gender has nothing to do with it. He drives me nuts. I JUST got done rebuilding his computer from the motherboard up, configuring a custom suite of applications that'll run his business AND serve as an ordinary personal home computer so my mother was satisfied, too. What's the first thing he does? He uninstalls the anti-virus program and just deletes the directories for the anti- ad and spy programs. You know, because they're always deleting his work documents because it's impossible that he, himself, could be responsible for failing to save them correctly. So, the result? All kinds of interal OS problems because of the missing files in the directories he just deleted, multiple virus infections, and hundreds of bits o' ad/spy ware. Somehow, this is all my fault, you see. So, I rescind my implication that women are prone to computer idiocy in favor of saying people in general are. Therefore, I move that people in general be summarily executed en masse to alleviate the problem. [daemon] In the shuffling madness... --- þ Synchronet þ necropolisbbs.darktech.org - Tonawanda, NY .
