I've got a stack of 'em here right now that all boot... Guess you got a
scratch or something.  :)  

No, I've heard of quite a few that are like that.  Not normally the SE's
though... But thats why you get that little floppy disk with it.  :)
Also, back in that day, there were computers that couldn't boot to
floppy.  Or, it was not enabled in the BIOS... There's too many possible
reasons why, without being there and observing it myself...   :)
