Certainly not for me, for general home use.  If I wanted something on 12v 
in the car, and a lower than 1200x1600 rez would do for the particular 
application(s)...  But generally I will take a big ugly desktop with a big 
ugly monitor.

However, things seem to be inproving tapidly, and with more LCD now being 
sold than glass, the rate of improvement seems set to skyrocket as the 
costs fall.
