Subj : And another thing To : All From : Angus Mcleod Date : Fri Apr 22 2005 09:36 am Same friend with Win98SE. She gave me her disk, which is a ripped copy. :-/ Anyway, it appears to be a full copy, even has a faked Microsoft label complete with key, but it won't boot. I don't like messing with pirated copies for friends, but sometimes, well, sometimes the friend looks real good in tight shorts! But it would be convenient if this disk were bootable. I suspect that the contents of an original disk were drag/dropped on a new disk but the new disk was not made bootable. If I made a new copy of the copy, but specified that it was to be a bootable disk, do you suppose that would solve the problem? --- þ Synchronet þ Cry "Softly" then hit hard at The ANJO BBS .
