I do some research. :) Well... Today marks the day the Novell system went bye bye... I started off early this morning, copied the Novell data to the NT4.0 system, then once I had that, I yanked the SCSI drive/controller out of the NT4.0 system and plugged it into the SBS2003 system, booted up... it found the drive, then copied it to the new SATA drives in the new machine... total time used for all that... 3 1/2 hours... Almost all of that was copying the data from the Novell system. Man I'm glad the drive and controller were usable in the new system... cause moving all that data across the network would have sucked. I decided to copy the data to the NT4.0 system because it already had the Novell connector stuff setup... Truth be told I have no idea if the 2003 version has that ability... :) But, I didn't chance it... :) They are back up and running, all their software operational... Internet works, so, now the next step is to get them a domain, , and setup their server for e-mail. :) I love it when it all comes together. The only snag I ran into was their accounting software ... It came up with an error about the activation file not found... They finally dug up their support contract and I called the "SAGE" people, found out it was a permission problem... fixed... Less than 3 minutes on the phone. :) The rest worked like clockwork...
