Every LCD monitor that I have ever seen (And I have sold several different brands and models over the past few years) will auto-adjust the sync rate of its A/D converter to spread the image from edge-to-edge, regardless of video mode. No "double-wide pixels," no "borders." I'm not trying to start a flame war. I'm just trying to call out the bullshit when I see it.
