I use that, but it requires manual intervention. If I want to back up the WPA.DBL and WPA.BAK files for a bunch of machines, I want a script that I run that automatically creates copies called XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-WPA.DBL with the XXXs being the product key. That way I can know which file is for what product key if I have to restore. I don't want to have to pop open a window and read off the key and manually type out a COPY command, etc. I just want to write a .BATch file that uses FINDKEY.EXE (or some similarly named utility) that writes to STDOUT so I can redirect the output as I see fit for use within my .BATch file. Alas, I can't find any such program, nor can I discover how the key is recovered that I might consider writing one. :-( --- þ Synchronet þ Cry "Softly" then hit hard at The ANJO BBS .
