It does.  I spent 4-5 days with a data-recovery company in Toronto a 
couple years ago, and they told me that they had a dumpster full of dead 
IBM Deskstar drives out back, but they were noticing an increase in the 
number of Fujitsu drives they saw.  I shoulda stayed in touch with those 
guys, because they can always tell you what is going through a bad phase.

I asked about WD and we all had a laugh together.....
