It's funny.  I grew up typing on Mod-28 TTY equipment, and I learned to type
using my right index finger to hit the "6" key.  The first "ergonomic" keyboard
I had was a Dell that was emulated my learning experience.  However, I've been
now subjected only to the kind where the "6" key is for the left index finger. 
(I guess they must be teaching that now?)  I had to relearn how to type a few
years ago, and I still feel slowed down by using my left hand for the "6" key!
