I keep hitting the wind0ze key when I'm playing Return to Castle
Wolfenstein. That minimizes the game and pulls up the start menu.
Since my machine is pegged at 100% utilization, it usually takes 15
seconds in meatspace to get to the task manager and switch to the
game, all the time my character is standing around drawing fire in
game time.

That's why I use the One True Keyboard now -- the IBM Model M. [1]

[1] Except now, I'm on my laptop. My Thinkpad X22 weighs about the
same as a Model M. Still has the IBM keyboard-ey goodness and no
touchpad.
