What No, I didn't try Hyperterminal (yet). > Maybe it's your computer or your Internet connection? It's very possible but I think it's a setting or a configuration particular to me, not the hardware. I achieve over 100kps on the bandwidth and when I connect with Vert (with no other activity) I crap right out on the scree before the external bulletins and also en route to the message menu. If I press a key ... everything displays instantly. As a matter of fact if I press (ie) a twice I get to answer a message. I think it is a configuration setting, but if I can figure out what's wrong out of the box, then it'd make a great faq item. .... All of life's answers are on the wrong side of progress. .
