Hmmm. I need to look Be> into them again. For my home machines, I use a bunch of different drives... the big boy has all Samsung drives in it though... 40 primary and 160 secondary... But I tend to keep the same make of HD in each machine... example, I have a couple of Maxtor drives in this Linux machine... they are older drives, a 40 and a 60, but have never had any problems with them... As for clients... if you say the Dell machines with Maxtors are going to be a problem, I'll add it to my list to check out... Appreciate that notice... Personally, I haven't had any noticable problems with any hard drives in a long time. All my rebuilds are user created...
