Yep, I actually picked up both pieces of software and am still noticing a 
problem, on multiple computers and multiple operating systems.

To date I have noticed the problem on W98, WXPSP2 under Mtelnet, Zoc, native 
Telnets and under a mud client named Zmud.

This mud client I used to use on realms.game.org and it handles ansi 
excellently.  I'm wondering if it's not a problem on the remote end.
