Keep the ideas coming... I plan on learning CW with this remember.  :-)

I'm actually thinking of a progressive reading only drill too... bascially,
real words containing only the chosen characters are played, then after the
word is done, the word is displayed onscreen followed by a long pause.  I'm
thinking this may work quite well indeed actually.  The use is very very
passive in this mode though.
