Very easy to build and offer comperable performance to commercial > verticals (I think). Sure I could... It'd just need to be 22.5m tall for the 30m band... so just under 75' I've got some 60' trees in the yard, so I could just run 'er up the trunk for support. :-) 'couse, copper pipe ain't exactly cheap... So possibly just a solid wire one that goes up the tree and have a 15' mast on to or something... I'd have to think, but it's not like it's impossible or anything. :-) It'd definately be interesting to find out how it compares to commercial omnis... but it would also be interesting to compare the price point. I'd also need to look up the strengh of copper pipe to figure out how much guying it would need. Hrm... Of course, I *could* mount it horizontally... :-) --- þ Synchronet þ ``Penguins make tasty snacks'' .
