At least I take the weather warnings seriously. As an example, the National Weather Services' Flash Flood Safety campaign stresses "Turn Around...Don't Drown". Basically, if you come to a flooded road, turn around, and don't drive through it. It only takes 2 feet of moving water to sweep a vehicle off the road. Once in a Little Rock area park, they had part of a road that went through the park blocked off, due to rushing water from recent rain. A school bus...full of kids...got to the barricades. The driver moved the barricades so s/he wouldn't have to take a long detour. The bus got stuck, and they had to call the fire department, etc. to rescue everyone. I understand they issued the driver a citation...shoot, I would have fired them on the spot!! F> OK, thanx for the Peet Brothers information. Good luck on finding something with their products. The only problem I ever had with the unit (which is now long since obsolete) was replacing the batteries every so often. --- þ OLX 1.53 þ Over 150 msg areas, over 5000 files, and over 100 doors. þ Synchronet þ The Thunderbolt BBS - wx1der.dyndns.org .
