It shouldn't be hard to devise a module to access it. >If you aren't a programmer, ask someone else. I can't offer to do it >because I don't have the QRZ disk. My programming ends at my VCR. I've been using the QRZ deal for several years now...I think I started with version 12...now, it's up to version 25. They put out a CD twice a year. I usually order 2...in case one goes bad. AM>Tell you what tho -- just for my curiosity, would you do an "ls -l" (or a >"DIR /S" it would prolly be under DOS/WIN) and post the results? Unless >they are waay long.... The installation deal creates separate directories for it...and you can decide if you want to obtain the data from the CD, or have it installed to your hard drive (be sure you have a lot of space ). It works both ways. I don't know the total amount of available callsigns, but it has the U.S., Canada, and several foreign countries...and it is a large number...and many of the calls also list email addresses. In fact, with the data, they've had to limit the "files" to just the "rig modification textfiles" and selected QSL card images...usually of the most recent submitted. I still have the original shareware collection from version 12 of their CD from several years ago. AM>Then ask him to make it public domain and release the source code. Maybe >someone else will take it up. I sent him an email on that tonight. He had a hard drive bite the dust, so he's trying to salvage what he can. I'm hoping he will do something with it...but, I know that his "data recovery" is a bit more important right now. 73, Daryl, N5VLZ --- þ OLX 1.53 þ More BBS and Christian Info: www.wx1der.com/bbs.htm þ Synchronet þ The Thunderbolt BBS wx1der.dyndns.org .
