Subj : Special Ham Radio Event To : All From : Daryl Stout Date : Tue Jul 05 2005 09:51 am Subject: W1AW/5 in Arkansas this Weekend! Forwarded From Chuck, KM5G: Next weekend amateur radio operators in the state of Arkansas will be "hosting" our national league headquarter station W1AW during the IARU HF contest. The contest starts Saturday morning and runs continuously for twenty-four hours. During the contest the various host stations will be passing out the unique ARRL multiplier to hams around the world. I would encourage all radio operators in the state to try and contact the host stations on as many band/modes as possible, or better yet travel to a host station and be a part of this unique event. Below is a list of the host stations and contact information. 73 Chuck KM5G 160 MTR SSB & CW N5ECT in Drasco, Ar. (pattaya@direcpc.com) 80 & 15 MTR SSB W5ZN in Judsonia, Ar.
