I yearn for Rario Shack in the late 70's/early 80's that I used to know. My
son's 2 years old, and I'm already starting to look forwards to teaching
him electronics and science. I'll have to go elsewhere to get a crystal
radio kit, and 50-in-1 electronics kits are probably Ebay only.

Being a geekish kid, our idea of rebellion was pirate CB radio without a
license. Man, we were outside the law!  :) Radio Shack was a place of
dreams - that 5 watt AC-powered Base station, a real antenna instead of a
car antenna and a c-clamp, and a real microphone...
