take a wire, go 1/4 wavelength make a right angle, go another 1/4 wave length
make another right angle go another 1/4 wave length and make another right
angle and end up where you started. Tie one side to the center conductor, the
other to the shield.

I have plans on a pretty cool 20 meter J-pole
