I was looking at the ICOM 703, I think they were billing it as the 706 Legacy
QRP version. I saw the price looked good compared to the 706 MK what ever it is
up to now. 

My wife has another semester in college then she will be working full time
again. Then after the several big ticket house repairs I need to do...I can
look at a new ICOM rig. I can't complain, I have a couple Radios so it is not a
must have yet.... I have the Ten Tec 544, the Kenwood TS550 SE and a silent
Keys wife gave me a Heath Kit Mohawk (needs work) and Hammerlund Transmitter.
(Also needs work)

And as I said in the previous post, I think a nice low cost QRP rig will be a
fun project. :)

Still the 703 looked real good.
