I've been out of commission for a while recovering from really nasty surgery. While the Internet has captured most hams with its lure, there are still several of us on here. I suppose the best way to see posts is like the best way to make contacts on the air: call CQ. In this context, I mean post something interesting. I was glad to see responses to my QRP question. I so rarely hear QRP stations on the air these days, that it was reassuring. I would still like to pursue a nightly or weekly Synchronet Ham roundtable. It might help stir up some conversation here, as well. Also, we are still running the SSB Sprint every Thursday night from 2000 to 2200 Central Time. Any band, any frequency you can legally operate. Make as many SSB contacts as you can during the 2 hour period, then send the results to me so I can post them on my web site. A little friendly competition on the air. Finally, I can generally be found on 7.238 after work during the drive home, on 21.315 most any other time, on 50.125, 50.140, and 50.200 Wednesday evenings (2000 Central Time); and occasionally can be found via Echolink. I would love to hear from any of you Synch hams! I use soliton.csl.uiuc.edu on port 8000 via my BBS to watch DX. Ron K0NEO --- þ Synchronet þ theroughnecks.net - you know you want it .
