You must be talking about 145.250-   CATV Channel 18 video carrier can tend to
do that if there is a leak.

:( All it takes is a cracked cable, lose fitings, those cheap radio shack twist
on connectors or a good Plastic shielded Dollar Store 10 dB Cable TV Signal
amplifier, preferabblt pumping signal into the dollar store cables.

Hope at least yopur local repeater has CTCSS transmit and you have CTCSS
Squelch on that rig, should keep your  rig from opening up the squelch when
driving.

Make a list of the knownBad areas and send it to the cable company, ATTENTION
CLI Department. Subject: HARMFULL INTERFERENCE! Enclosed is a list of leaks
that need your attention.
