I believe that there is a new book in the "...For Dummies" genre called
Ham Radio For Dummies (or was it Amateur Radio For Dummies???). Anyway it would
be a great place for a newbie to start along with learning ohms law and a few
thousand other formulae. heh heh heh... actually to get the license nowadays
just requires good short term memory and a current copy of the question pool.
Not like when I got my license but then things change! Best of luck and
