Sorry about that, I tried a copy and paste and MTelnet locked up
The main Freqs I will be using are:
NOAA 137.500,  137.620 MHz

They use FM with a deviation of +/- 17 kHz

My friend uses a regular scanner reciever using FM narrow, a little narrow for
17 KHz, he gets pretty good results.  My ICOM gives me a choice of FM narrow
and FM Wide. Well FM wide is considerably wider and the volume would seem nill
on that setting. Shame their isn't an FM medium setting on the ICOM.

I can play with both settings.
