Been there.  Done That.  1997.

If you are by any means interested in low-cost QRP rigs, go look for the G-QRP
contingent.  Rev. Geo. Dobbs, Dick Pascoe, etc.  Wait until the last day.  They
bring kits, etc, over from England and they don't want to take any of it back. 
On the last day, if you have been chatting them up, you can get a number of
good modules at a fire-sale price.  Just take care that they don't sell out
before the last day!  :)
