  I just read a post where a few SysOps of 5 years past got re-acquainted. It
 was pretty cool. It got me thinking of a BBS back in 85/86 I spent some time
 working with. I can't recall the SysOps name but the name of the BBS was
 "The Quantum Thump". It was in Texas somewhere and it was the first BBS I
 ever exchanged an "inter-bbs" packet with. The game was what is now called
 BRE but it wasn't then. I forget the name. It was pre telnet and I had to 
 schedule a 2400 baud call each night at midnight to exchange packets. He was
 the hub. Not long after that I shut my board down. Just now getting back in.


  I guess my question would be. Does anyone know or remember this BBS? "The
 Quantum Thump"
