I don't consider myself to be anti-American.  Generally, I *like* 
Americans.

I don't actually *own* a television, but recently I've found myself sat in 
front of one and have been watching 'Will & Grace'.  You know something?  
I hadn't realised that all Americans were shirt-lifters!

I have no in-born idea what the USA 'stands for'.  So I have to make an 
assessment by observing American behaviour over a period of time.
