I emailed her the telnet address and link to SyncTerm to give to his wife for him, which she did. I figured if he was anywhere remotely interested in running another board or getting back into BBSEs he'd login .... but alas that was well over a week ago and haven't seen him. I thought about writing a letter about BBSes including the links to some of the online BBS resources and mailing it to about 20-30 local folks who used to be active. That plus maybe putting an ad in the local paper just saying something like "Are you a former BBS user or Sysop? If so BBSes are still very much alive. For more information, telnet to ....".
