I really think this conversation would be better in the 'Debate' forum, but I
digress.

Education is an inalienable(sp) right for all Americans.  Part of our taxes
automatically go to PUBLIC schools to assure that in the very least our
children, and their children are educated to a set standard of degree.

You have the right to place your child in the school of your choosing, and
you also have the right to pay for that.  In that regard you have a valid
point, otherwise we can always get into the debate about 'Well I don't have
kids, so why should I pay for your kids education?!', that's going to get us
nowhere, fast.
