I have some questions/problems posted in Synchronet Sysop echo about 
FIdonet, but once it's working I'll most definitely get something written 
up.  Something to note though, I'm doing this on Linux, so it might be kinda 
different from Windows installs of BinkD and Sync.

Five or so years ago when I had Sync running on Windows the NC from Net 229 
hooked me up with a Fidonet feed.  He's in Canada and a super great guy 
(can't remember name).  At that time I wrote-up a nice PDF how-to that I 
know several boards used (X-Bit being one) to get going, but I have no idea 
where it is now.  It was on Sync 3.11, so probably outdated anyway.

All I can say is get iwth a local NC or check with the Net229 website above.  
Get a node number and download binkd (or whatever mailer) and start 
reading-up on how Fidonet works.  That'll helpwhen you start working with 
it.
