Something to note though, I'm doing this on Linux, so it might be kinda different from Windows installs of BinkD and Sync. Here's another resource that's helped: http://runekeep.synchro.net/html/net229/fidosetup/index.html Five or so years ago when I had Sync running on Windows the NC from Net 229 hooked me up with a Fidonet feed. He's in Canada and a super great guy (can't remember name). At that time I wrote-up a nice PDF how-to that I know several boards used (X-Bit being one) to get going, but I have no idea where it is now. It was on Sync 3.11, so probably outdated anyway. All I can say is get iwth a local NC or check with the Net229 website above. Get a node number and download binkd (or whatever mailer) and start reading-up on how Fidonet works. That'll helpwhen you start working with it.
