MOst is just standard BBS login screens and with me learning as I went some is quite confusing as I tried to see how this new 'BBS thing' worked :) I don't know if anyone other then some of the local BBSers would even find any interest in this stuff. > I think I got the LAST XT made. Hope to be able to see some of it online > sometime. I'll go through some of the pages and see if I can find anything that would be kinda neat to share. I think most folks would get bored looking at 17 yo bbs lists and usernames . The printout of my first BBS login might be neat, but I literally knew nothing about it, so I was trying all sorts of things to get in. Looking over the printouts brought back a flood of memories from back then, which is REALLY awesome. Hadn't thought about most of this in YEARS! I know what you mean about the XT. I got my Tandy TRS-80 Coco 2 around 1986 and in 1989 my folks got me a Coco 3, the DM printer, and DC 300bps modem (came as a package from Radio Shack). I used this for a year and then with Xmas money spent $600 also on an 8088 XT. I used this through high school (graduated in '94) and by then I'd added a 20 Meg MFM HD, another floppy drive, SVGA monitor (CShow in COLOR -- COOL!), and a Game Blaster card. Nice box, but way underpowered compared to what was around in '94. Anyway, it's definitely fun reading through this old stuff, and I'll scan in some of it soon to share with others.
