Actually, there used to be a pretty decent WWIV community here in Buffalo, too.
 There used to be a BBS here called The Forest, I believe, that used to be a
reseller for the Phoenix line of BBS-ready CD-ROMS (that to be honest, used to
be run by the guy who is now my partner in life).
