Subj : BBS History To : PATCH From : Pbmountaincat Date : Tue Sep 27 2005 08:55 pm PA>Imagine my surprise when I went looking for our old BBS list online the PA>internet. It was called The Orlando Complete BBS list, so when I went to PA>trusty ole Google and typed that in, I found something very interesting. =) Hello, I went searching and found Ivy Tech State College BBS, I ran it at work from 1993 to 1998 when I left to work at a local bank. For about a year people would call the college asking if it was up anymore. Also found Flaming Star BBS in the list running from 1993 to 1996. Fidonet calls were getting expensive, we lived in the country. I enjoyed the BBS, we had 100's of message areas, and had 7 CD's online, and several doors. On our new out of the box BBS, I have over 30,000 messages, no users yet, if I don't get any, it gives me a new hobby to work on. Have a great day.
