May they die a slow painful liberalistic death! I am tempted > stop using my GMAIL account and no longer use the GOOGLE search engine. I AM > PISSED!! Actually I think it's funny as heck :) I love this country, but I fear the government to no end. Even the Patriot Act (which is utter BS) pretty much gives the government the ability to hold anyone for any reason for any amount of time. When the leaders of our country pass laws that go against the fundimental rights of citizens (trial by jury for example), I'm against it. Most folks think the world changed on 9/11, but only the US changed. Until then that stuff happened 'someplace else', but for the first time it hit home. We're no more or less safer now then we were before 9/11, and I think most of what is done to 'make us safer' and 'fight terrorism' is just to make voters think something's being done. Adding more checkers in airports (making probably a hair above minimum wage mind you), creating a national ID card, and other 'steps' do little good. Everytime I fly and I'm required to walk around in socks makes us safe? Folks are quick to throw up Terrorism in the 'Important' category, but what about education, economics, and other issues that also matter. Bush has sent more to Iraq then he budgeted for the Education system. If me not supporting and agreeing with Bush makes me unpatriotic and your opinion is that such opinions require "deportation to a communistic country", that in of itself sounds communistic to me.
