With all this discussion on DNS and IP forwarding, I'll chip in with my
experiences.

For the last four years, I've used a service called My Domain. Its 100% free
and works rather well.

I would only use this service if your IP address is fairly stable (changes only
once every several months or less)

http://www.mydomain.com

Works for URL redirection too, but works great for telnet, FTP, E-mail, NNTP,
etc.

I use it for three domains (including the one for my BBS) all under one
account.
