My father was diagnosed with Lymphnoma (sp) cancer, not once, but twice now. He orignally had it back in the early 70's. He went through Radiation, Chemo, surgery, etc. He survived for more than 30 years after, until it caught him again. So, to answer your question, do I think treatment of cancer speeds up the process. No. And for the possibility of extending my life, yes, I would go through whatever treatments they deemed necessary.
