My step-mom's mother is in Houston right now and if it hasn't happend yet she'll be lucky if she survives the night due to her cancer. What's worse is the freakin hurricane Rita is forcasted to head that way in a few days. I lost my grandfather 3 years ago to cancer, and like your dad it was weeks between diagnosis and the end. Problem with my granddad was the doctors could've picked it up SO much sooner because all the clues were in this charts, x-rays, etc -- but I guess hindsight is 20/20. I honestly think cancer will get us all if nature doesn't first. I know words on the screen don't help much, but if there's anything that can be done, please let us know.
