Well it's about the same thing here in Lake Placid except for a few local dial-
up services, but I have to say despite the bone-headedness of the 
organization, and despite the dificulty of using their services from time to 
time, I've had good service with Verizon.  Their tech support tends to suck 
but this is mainly because of the problems getting to a human, then figuring 
out if the human knows what he/she is talking about.
